1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using SalonCall AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use SalonCall AI for a salon, business, or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use SalonCall AI.
2. The SalonCall AI service
SalonCall AI provides salon booking software, staff calendar tools, public booking pages, appointment management features, AI receptionist tools, call history, notifications, and related product features.
Features may be added, changed, paused, limited, or removed as we improve the product, maintain security, or meet operational needs.
3. Salon accounts and access
- Each salon account is intended for that salon only, with its own staff, services, calendar, customers, and booking records.
- Salon owners are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for all activity under their accounts.
- Each salon must provide accurate salon information, including service menu, prices, durations, staff, business hours, contact information, and booking rules.
- Salons are responsible for deciding who has access to their workspace and for removing access when a staff member no longer needs it.
- SalonCall AI may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is unsafe, misused, unpaid, or violating these terms.
4. Bookings, customers, and salon services
SalonCall AI helps create and manage appointments, but the salon provides the actual salon services. SalonCall AI is not responsible for the quality, pricing, timing, availability, refund decisions, customer service decisions, or conduct of any salon or salon customer.
Customers should contact the salon directly for questions about salon services, late arrivals, refunds, no-shows, disputes, special requests, allergies, health concerns, or any issue requiring a human decision.
5. AI receptionist features
AI receptionist features can answer calls, collect booking details, check availability, create appointments, summarize calls, and route information to the salon. AI output may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Salons should monitor booking activity and correct errors promptly.
AI receptionist features are assistive tools for booking and customer service. They do not replace salon owners, managers, or staff for business decisions.
The AI receptionist should not be used for emergencies, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, employee discipline, or any decision that requires a licensed professional or human judgment.
6. Privacy and data
Use of SalonCall AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy and AI Disclosure. Salons must provide legally appropriate notices and obtain required permissions for their own use of customer information, including AI receptionist calls, recordings, transcripts, and appointment notes.
Salons may not upload, request, or store information that is unnecessary for salon booking or customer service, including highly sensitive information unless the salon has a lawful reason and appropriate safeguards.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not use SalonCall AI for unlawful, misleading, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or deceptive activity.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to another salon workspace, customer record, API, database, account, or system.
- Do not interfere with, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or attack the platform.
- Do not use the platform to store unlawful or unrelated content.
- Do not use SalonCall AI to send spam, collect unrelated personal information, impersonate others, or misrepresent salon services.
- Do not remove or hide required AI, recording, privacy, or booking disclosures.
8. Fees and payment
Paid plans, trials, setup fees, usage-based charges, taxes, and billing terms may be shown during signup, in an order form, or in another written agreement. Salons are responsible for fees connected to their plan and usage.
If a paid account is unpaid, cancelled, or expires, access to certain features may be paused or terminated.
SalonCall AI may include advertising, sponsored placements, or promotional content in the service or on related pages in the future. We may add, change, or remove that content at our discretion, subject to applicable law.
9. Third-party services
SalonCall AI may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, databases, email, AI voice, transcription, analytics, payments, and other infrastructure. Third-party service availability and terms may affect the platform.
We are not responsible for third-party products that are not controlled by SalonCall AI, but we choose service providers to support the product and protect operations.
10. Intellectual property
SalonCall AI, including the website, software, design, workflows, branding, documentation, and platform features, is owned by SalonCall AI or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Salons retain rights to their salon names, logos, menus, customer lists, booking records, and other content they provide, subject to the limited rights SalonCall AI needs to operate and improve the service.
11. Disclaimers
SalonCall AI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free AI output, perfect availability, specific business results, or that every appointment will be correct.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SalonCall AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost goodwill, lost data, business interruption, or salon customer disputes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SalonCall AI total liability for any claim relating to the service will be limited to the amount paid to SalonCall AI for the affected service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or CAD $100 if no fees were paid.
13. Indemnity
If you use SalonCall AI for a salon or business, you agree to defend and indemnify SalonCall AI from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your salon services, customer disputes, misuse of the platform, violation of these terms, violation of law, or content and information you provide through the service.
14. Termination
You may stop using SalonCall AI at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe continued access creates risk, violates these terms, threatens platform security, or creates legal or operational issues.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless a different governing law is required by applicable consumer protection law.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as SalonCall AI changes. The updated date at the top of the page shows when the terms were last changed. Continuing to use SalonCall AI after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
